Ingredients

(5)

A few slices of optional bread

50 g butter

1 teaspoon ground cardamom

1.5 teaspoons cinnamon  â€‹

1-2 tablespoons sugar â€‹ (optionally)

Homemade crusts

Do you have slices of bread that have been left over and have started to dry a bit? No danger, these are excellent for making your own crusts! Hamburger bread or sausage bread among others are common waste products and this is a way to give them new life.

Time: 10 minutes + 1h in the oven  |   4 servings

Do this

Set the oven at 175 degrees.

Melt the butter and stir in the cardamom, cinnamon and sugar. They are good even without sugar, but the sugar makes them a little more suitable as coffee.

Place the slices of bread on a baking sheet and now brush the melted butter over them.

Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes and then leave the oven, but leave the bread slices until the oven has cooled down or at least 1 hour.
