Omar cheesecake
A heavenly cheesecake flavored with Omar candies. Suitable for all events and holidays as it can be decorated as desired. This one was decorated for Easter!
Time: 35 minutes + 4 hours in the fridge | 10 servings
Do this
1. Choose a cake tin with removable edges and place parchment paper on the bottom. Oil and sprinkle icing sugar on the edges.
2. Put the gelatin leaves in cold water.
3. Mix or crush the oatmeal biscuits as finely as possible. Melt the butter and now mix together the crushed biscuits and the melted butter. Press into the bottom of the cake tin and place in the fridge.
Boil 2 dl cream and add 50 pieces of omar sweets, feel free to divide them into smaller pieces so they melt faster. Stir and heat until the candies have melted completely. Set aside and allow to cool.
5. Whisk 4 dl cream and 0.5 dl sugar in a bowl.
Stir the cream cheese into another bowl and add the omar sauce made earlier. Now stir this into the whipped cream and mix well.
7. Heat 6 tablespoons water and stir in the gelatin leaves. Now gently stir this into the remaining filling. Let the gelatin liquid flow like a narrow jet while stirring the mixture.
8. Now pour the filling into the cake tin and leave in the fridge for at least 4 hours, but preferably overnight. Decorate as desired.
An incredibly good cheesecake that gets high marks from guests. A cheesecake can also be decorated exactly how you want according to the season and event, because it has such a neutral look as such.
