Ingredients

(7)

350 g tomato

4 tablespoons olive oil

2 cloves garlic

1 dl fresh basil

2-4 slices of optional bread

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

Bruschetta with tomato and basil

Simple meal that goes well with the luxurious breakfast or as an evening meal. Also fits well alongside a more nutritious dish. Bread that is getting old is well suited to use here, as the bread should still be grilled in the oven.

Time: 30 minutes   |   2 servings

Do this

Set the oven at 200 degrees.

1. Fry the crushed garlic with olive oil on low heat for about a minute and then let cool.

2. Chop the tomatoes into cubes and cut the basil into small strips, mix together. Add salt and pepper.

3. Pour in the cooled olive oil and stir. Let the tomatoes marinate for about 30 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare the bread slices.

4. Brush the bread slices with olive oil on both sides and toast them in the oven for 10-15 minutes or until slightly browned. Divide a clove of garlic in half and then rub the slice of garlic against one side of the slices of bread.

5. Place the tomato puree on the breads and serve!
